Finding Tesco Axminster Car Park (from the South)

Tesco Axminster Car Park

Tesco's Axminster may be found down a road off the roundabout in town that does not look like it leads to a supermarket!  If you are coming in from the south, or head in to Axminster on the main A358 and after passing under the A35 bridge you will start to enter a built up area which is Axminster.

Passing up a short hill the road turns sharp left and then sharp right and then drops down a small hill to a roundabout. You should take the second exit (so straight on).

The post code for the store is EX13 5NG but this also covers other locations locally.

Finding Tesco Axminster Car Park (From the A35)

Tesco Axminster Car Park 3

You should take either the A358 turning off the A35 signed to Seaton and Musbury or the B3261 signed to Axminster, there the latter is the easiest way to Tesco from the main A35 as it avoids any of the town.

If coming in on the A358 from the slip road off the A35 turn right. Soon you will start to enter a built up area which is Axminster.

Passing up a short hill the road turns sharp left and then sharp right and then drops down a small hill to a roundabout. You should take the second exit (so straight on).

If coming in on the B3261 when you get to teh roundabout turn left (first exit)

Finding Tesco Axminster Car Park (From the North)

Tesco Axminster Car Park 2

If coming from the north then you will have to drive through the centre of the town to get to the store.

The town centre is a well known bottleneck and car should be taken. Simply follow the signs for the station or Seaton, continuing on the A358 through the town centre.

As you emerge from the very narrow centre of the town you will drop down a short hill to a roundabout where you should turn right (third exit).

How much does it cost to park at Tesco Axminster Car Park

It is free for up to two hours to park here.

Persons using the car park are, naturally, expected to shop in the store.

There is a footpath up to the town centre.

There are cameras that record your entry and exit times (Image right).

You can pay to park here via Your Parking Space and it is very reasonable for a longer stay and much cheaper than paying to park at the nearby station car park, and there is even a little-known footpath from here to the station.
